IVAN

Our story is told from Ivan's point-of-view. He is small, but tough. He is somewhat psychodic because of what he has been through—watching his mother, father, and grandfather all die at the pleaseure of the Raveners.

BUTTERFLY/ILSA
ageless

Butterfly is a guardian angel to Ivan. Living in the kingdom of the Gods, she has witnessed the distruction of most of the world by the Raveners. She is weary of it all and will risk everything to protect Ivan.

GRANDFATHER
age 78

Grandfather is a survivor. He is rough yet kind. He has lost most of his hope that the world will survive the reign of the Raveners. He does what he can to provide for and protect Ivan.

APOTHACARY
age 72

We don't know much about this man other than that he runs the Apothacary shop on Carnival Island and that Ivan has a memory of his parents leaving a mysterious box with him.

MOTHER
age 34

Ivan's mother is kind and mysterious. She loves her son and sees in him a spark of hope to restore the world to what it once was—simple, peacefull and fair. She is beautiful and seems to know more than she lets on.

FATHER
age 32

Curious and brave, Ivan's father has seen more of this world than most. Years before our story, he found his way up a large tower to the heavens where he interacted with the gods. After leaving the heavens, he was pleagued for the rest of his life with a severe headache, thinking he was cursed by the gods. Actually a seed was planted in his skull—a seed that would bring new life to the dying world in which he lived.

ILSA

Ilsa is a product manufactured for the pleasure of men— particularly those in the service of the Raveners. She will be used in our story as a vessel for Butterfly when she decides to take physical form.

CHIP
age ?

Chip is the boss of the Raven Men. He is ruthles and cruel. He lives in luxury and one way or another, gets what he wants. He is intelligent and has an uncanny sense of strategy.

MIKE
age ?

Think middle-management. Mike is vain, selfish and weak. He is powerful only because he is a Raven Man. He is sleek and fancies himself a great sales-bird. He is the type that would kick someone when they are donw, and usually only then.

RANDY
age ?

Another middle-manager, Randy is a loner. He is the type to torture and kill small animals. He is analytical and sociopathic. He would kill not only humans and small animals, but Ravens, if it suited his purposes.
